Two Hour Targeted Reiki

Service Description

**Book this session to address specific concerns with guidance and support.** Reiki is an incredibly powerful alternative therapy that involves the channeling of Universal healing energies to the body in order to balance energy centers, promoting healing and relaxation. Benefits may include reduced stress, pain alleviation, improved sleep, and enhanced overall well-being. Prior to beginning, we’ll discuss any specific physical, emotional, or spiritual issues being experienced in order to set intentions for the treatment. Next, you’ll lie down on my table, fully clothed. Once you’re comfortable, we’ll cover your eyes with a weighted pillow to help induce relaxation. I’ll place my hands on or very near your body in a series of positions. I might use symbols, crystals, mantras, or sound to help focus the healing energies. Feeling warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, or even sleep are all typical responses during the session. Feeling nothing at all is not uncommon. No matter how the body responds, please know that the Universal healing energies are doing their work for your highest good. I like to integrate the healings with a sound bath to end the session. When you emerge from the treatment room, we'll discuss our shared experience. In the upcoming days, you'll receive a follow-up email including notes from our session interpreting how your energy applies to your targeted situation and recommended practices to aid in keeping your energy centers cleared. After the session, please rest and hydrate with water. Many find meditation or some other form of reflection helpful in evaluating how their energy has shifted after a session. As previously blocked energies are released from the body, emotional release may occur. Though safe and non-invasive, Reiki is a complementary practice and isn’t meant to replace medical treatment or therapy from a licensed professional.
